Michigan Classic Swing LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Sale and event policies at any time without prior notice.

Attendees are expected to comply with all posted event rules, policies, and staff instructions throughout the duration of the event.

Refund Policy

Michigan Classic Swing LLC maintains a strict no-refund policy. In the event of your inability to attend, you are allowed to sell your pass. Weekend passes must be sold at or below the original purchase price. The new pass holder must qualify for the specific pass type (e.g., All Star Pass, Student Pass, International Pass, etc.). Any financial transactions related to pass transfers must occur directly between the original purchaser and the new pass holder. Michigan Classic Swing LLC is not responsible for facilitating, monitoring, refunding, or resolving disputes related to pass transfer payments. Notify us via email at Info@MichiganClassicSwing.com with the new pass holder’s name at least seven (7) days prior to the start of the event. Failure to send this email will result in the transfer not being completed. Transfers requested after this timeframe will not be accepted.

Pass Award Winners:

If you have won a pass, pre-registration is required at least seven (7) days before the start of the event to validate the pass. Failure to pre-register within this timeframe will void the pass. Awarded passes hold no cash value, cannot be transferred or postponed, and are valid only for the specified event. For pre-registration, contact us at Info@MichiganClassicSwing.com.

Competition Eligibility:

A full weekend pass is mandatory for participation in all of our competitions (a Day Pass is accepted for competing in the Shooting Star Tournament and Total Eclipse J&J).

Health and Refund Policy:

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 (or the Flu), have symptoms, or feel unwell in the days leading up to the event, we strongly advise you to stay home. In such circumstances, we offer two options:

1. Credit: You can choose to credit the full amount you paid to the following year’s Michigan Classic.

2. Refund: We will process a refund for your prepaid passes and competition fees.

Requests for illness-related credits or refunds must be submitted before the conclusion of the event. For assistance with either option, please contact us at Info@MichiganClassicSwing.com. Your well-being is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

Right to Refuse:

Michigan Classic Swing LLC, as a privately owned company, reserves the right to establish and enforce policies that foster a safe and inclusive environment. We reserve the right to refuse attendance to anyone for any non-discriminatory reason. Attendance may be denied or revoked for individuals engaging in unacceptable behavior, harassment, or violations of event policies.

Price Gouging:

Michigan Classic Swing LLC prohibits price gouging, including but not limited to, reselling event passes at inflated prices or reselling booked accommodations for profit. Violators may have their passes canceled or revoked and may be removed from the event without warning, compensation, or refund.

Event Changes:

Event schedules, instructors, workshops, competitions, venues, and activities are subject to change without notice. Such changes do not qualify for refunds or compensation.

Assumption of Risk:

By attending the event, participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and attendance, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, property damage, or loss. Participants are responsible for their own health, safety, and personal belongings.

Media Release:

Michigan Classic Swing LLC incorporates professional video and photography at our event. By attending the event, you grant permission for your likeness, image, voice, and appearance captured during the event to be used by Michigan Classic Swing LLC for promotional, marketing, archival, and media purposes without compensation. Captured material may be utilized for, including but not limited to:

– Event Promotion: In brochures, flyers, posters, and other promotional materials.

– Online Presence: On the event website, social media channels, and other online platforms.

– News and Media Coverage: In news releases, articles, and other media coverage related to the event.

No compensation will be provided. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Event Directors.

Event Cancellation:

Michigan Classic Swing LLC is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or cancellation of the event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, venue issues, government actions, public health emergencies, labor disputes, travel disruptions, or other force majeure events. In such cases, refunds, credits, or transfer policies will be determined at the sole discretion of Michigan Classic Swing LLC.
